Who Remember's these Toys?

This was my husband's fisher price farm house from when he was little. Okay I am showing my age here but I am thinking it was in the 1970's.....

and this is Brennan's Fisher Price farm house that he got as a birthday gift last year. When John saw this he had to get it. It is the new version of the "old" farm house.

I have to say that the kids still play with the "old" version more. Surprisingly, it is still in working condition. The door still opens and it still has the "moo" sound...haha...and it is much bigger too. So now Fisher Price is duplicating the toys that we played with way back when..lol
For some reason, it is neat to see your children playing with the toys that you played with as a child! Oh and Fisher Price has figured that out, and they are going to make you pay triple than what it is worth just because they know us parents can not resist!!!!

We were at Target a couple of weeks ago and we found these.....Remember the classic teaching clock?

toys 3

and the Two Tune Television?

fp toys 2

and the pull toy Chatter Telephone?

fp toys

Yes, I remember them all! We almost bought them for the kids but we finally came to our senses knowing that they would never get played with. It is neat to see the "older" toys make their debut again. So I am too old or do any of you remember these too? I am probably going to be sorry I asked that, I may not want to know the answer!!!!

Oh, I remember all of these! I may have to get that barn for my son when he gets older! My husband's parents kept sooo many things from his childhood. A HUGE box came filled with Star Wars things. My girls LOVE SW now and my hubs has added a lot of new to the old!

Oh my gosh! I am really wanting to go out and buy that television for Michele. That was my favorite as a kid! Boy, they really know how to sucker you in with those classics!

I remember those, too. Santa almost got our youngest a similar phone, and then I got to thinking...we don't even use phones like this anymore and we'd probably confuse her.

It is funny how everything is coming back. Just like all of the old movies and cartoons being re-made. Funny!

I loved my FP farm house! I remember all of those. Loved that TV too! We were just showing our kids those same toys in a catalog we got at Christmas. My twelve year old just didn't "get" the TV. "It just rolls around over and over?" KIDS! UGH!

They also re-released that little pull toy puppy. Remember that one? That may be before your time.
